I am a student at the College of William and Mary from out of state. I have a permanent piece of orthodontics that came undone after almost six years. The loose wiring had been poking my tongue and created an uncomfortable task of covering the wire end with gum until I found someone that could help me. I called a local dentist and two local orthodontists, all of whom turned me away for reasons ranging from a full appointment book to me not being a patient of theirs. I was so frustrated with the unprofessional and unhelpful calls, even after explaining that all I needed were a pair of dental clips to cut the loose wire until I could go to my dentist back home. I finally got in touch with Dr. Oglesby's office just before they were to close. After explaining the situation, they immediately assured me that they'd be happy to help. They stayed half an hour after closing to wait for me to come by. After fixing and regluing the remaining wire end, Dr. Oglesby took me to the door and told me it was no charge and wished me luck with the rest of my semester. Although I am not one of his regular patients, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Oglesby for his office's overall attention to servicing patients and for his expertise in BOTH general dentistry and orthodontics.
